Dekton or Silestone: choosing material for your sink

Start with the worktop in your project. If it is already specified, find the complete material reference before looking for a similar colour. If you are still choosing, compare physical samples and equivalent sink configurations.

What you are comparing

Cosentino describes Dekton as an ultracompact surface and Silestone as a mineral surface. They are different material families. Read the current documentation for the selected reference and its use and care guidance.

These manufacturer descriptions concern the material. Construction, joints, waste fittings and installation of the finished sink need their own checks. A slab certification or warranty should not automatically be attributed to the whole sink.
