How to choose the sink material, color, and finish

When the sink is made from the same material as the countertop, choosing it involves more than finding a similar color: you need to identify the project’s exact reference.

Start with the brand and color

Check the kitchen quote or invoice. These normally include the brand and the commercial color name. Oasink works with the active options shown in its catalog, including Dekton and Silestone when available.

Don’t forget the finish

The same color may be available in different finishes. Check the finish specified for the countertop and select it in the configurator as well, when available.

4. Ask before ordering if any reference is missing.

A complete reference, beyond a photograph

Record the brand, commercial colour name and finish from the worktop documentation. Screen images help you explore; lighting, display settings and framing affect perception. When the visual result is critical, compare a physical sample and the written reference with your supplier.

Availability and the selected price

Finishes belong to specific colours: a finish in a brand's range is not necessarily offered for every colour. Check the material page and the options in the sink configurator. Changing colour or finish may change the price; compare the same model and size.

Keep the configuration link and consult the manufacturer's care instructions for that reference. A slab's properties alone do not describe the joints, waste connection or installation of a completed sink. If a reference is missing, contact us before choosing a substitute.
